Dear Local Business Leaders,

This letter is coming to you because we see you as a distinctive business owner in our community who cares and supports our local service industry workers and entertainers that make the backbone for our thriving tourist town. We are a group of motivated folks that run a charity organization, Nugefund, to help out these fellow workers that reside in our local communities if any find themselves in a time of need. In order to be successful in our mission, we depend on you, a local business owner, for support for our main charity event, NugeFest. Over the past several years, we have had 4 successful NugeFest concert events, NugeFest 1, 2, 3, and 4. We are currently planning our 5th event on April 1st, and are asking if you would be willing to support either for the first time or if you have been a generous donor in the past, extend your generosity once again for the fantastic fifth event!

The first NugeFest was founded by Jewop Steve after Jen & Ricky from the beach shack suggested a music festival to help his buddy Joey Nugent. Joey had found himself with hardships due to a combination of a hurricane destruction of his home and serious medical issues. The first NugeFest was a great event; it not only was a huge success for its intent but the community had a great time supporting and participating or enjoying the show! Because of the much needed financial help that this event afforded Joey, Steve and Joey decided to team up together and do it again in 2020. They came up with the idea to start Nugefund to raise money for musicians and service industry people in similar times of crisis.

NugeFest 2 was another successful event, we managed to raise over $4k, located at the Beach Shack, which we quickly outgrew. NugeFest 3 was more of a success in 2021 at the Cocoa Beach Fish camp grill. Thanks to the sponsors and generous donations we were able to help many more local individuals as a result of these successful shows. NugeFest 4 was the biggest event so far. We held the event at Jonathan’s pub, had over 15 local bands on 2 stages playing throughout the day. We managed to raise more money than all three of our previous NugeFests combined!

NugeFund is an officially registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Florida. Nugefund.org is our official website that you may look further into the amazing support our fund has provided to industry locals in need.

We can’t continue to do amazing things for our community without our generous sponsors, which is where you come in. We are asking that you help the NugeFund by becoming a sponsor of our 5th annual NugeFest on Saturday April 1, 2023. Your contribution to this music festival will not only directly benefit members of our hard working community, but it will ensure that we are able to continue to host incredible events just like this one in the future.
